The long handle rope is built for taller jumpers who find standard handles cramped, anyone who wants more leverage and wrist clearance, and freestyle jumpers who need precise control for tricks and wraps. The wider arc also makes it a great option for people still building their timing.
How are 20cm handles different from standard ones?
Standard Elevate handles are 13–15cm. The long handle is 20cm — adding significant grip surface, leverage on rotation, and wrist room. The longer handle also widens the arc naturally, giving you more clearance underfoot on every jump.
What rope length do I need?
Stand on the centre of the rope — handles should reach your armpits. When in doubt, go one size longer. All Elevate ropes are adjustable. Under 5'0" → 8ft · 5'0"–5'5" → 9ft · 5'5"–5'11" → 9.5ft · Over 5'11" → 10ft.

Stand on the centre of the rope — handles should reach your armpits. All ropes are adjustable.

  • Under 5'0" (152cm) → 8ft rope
  • 5'0"–5'5" (152–165cm) → 9ft rope
  • 5'5"–5'11" (165–180cm) → 9.5ft rope
  • Over 5'11" (180cm+) → 10ft rope

If you're over 6'0", consider going up one size from the standard recommendation — the wider arc of the long handle works best with a little extra rope length.

The wider arc gives you more time between jumps — use it to focus on landing softly and staying on your toes. Let the rope do the work rather than forcing the rotation speed.
