Stand on the centre of the rope — handles should reach your armpits. When in doubt, go one size longer. All ropes are adjustable with household scissors. Under 5'0" → 8ft · 5'0"–5'5" → 9ft · 5'5"–5'11" → 9.5ft · Over 5'11" → 10ft.
Is the Speed Rope MAX good for beginners?

Getting started

Start with basic two-foot jumps at a comfortable pace. Focus on wrist rotation — the power comes from your wrists, not your arms. Keep elbows close to your sides.

For double-unders: slow your jump height slightly and let the rope speed do the work. The Elevate SHRED app includes a full double-under progression series built specifically for the Speed Rope MAX.
